Made a wrong move in your knitting project? did you mean to knit instead of purl or vice versa? Then don't panic. Here I show you how to un-knit or un-purl a stitch so you don't have to start all over again. *Note* Just make sure your yarn you're working with is facing the right way before un-knitting/purling so it doesn't become trapped between your stitches.

How to Cast On in Knitting - Two Ways
Brief is very good. Mam how to join the new thread?
It would be useful if you could show the whole process when a dropped stitch is only noticed after completing a row. I don't know how to unpick stitches without losing them entirely. I suppose I need an idiot's guide to knitting. Otherwise this is a good channel.
Thank you for a great tutorial, I was trying to follow another UA-cam channel without any success as the instructor was using the continental method of knitting and I have knitted the English way always. I have subscribed to your great channel too
I am a real beginner and gaining skill and confidence because of your instruction. You do an exceptional job of explaining and demonstrating. Thank you. Next challenge...changing yarn color.
You are a beautiful lady, very confident and very explanatory, I achieved this pattern for my daughter and it came out amazing, now I am just about to make one for me. Thank you and keep up the good work.
NO BC WHY IS NO TUTORIAL MENTIONING THIS!!! I WAS GOING CRAZY. TYTYTY❤
Oh thanks I thought I was going mad Helps clear the stitches up a lot 😂😅
Glad I could help!
Do you have the measurements for the sizes please? Length and width. Thanks!
I used to crochet and I just learned how to knit
Very good demonstration- nice and slow. And repeated, even better!
Thank you so much! I just accidentally did 4 purls instead of knits!
You taught me how to crochet. And now I'm knitting. Thank you so much. You're an angel.
You are so welcome!
Thank you very much just watching and listening I remembered how to cast off
🖤🖤🖤
You're the best teacher ever in the world 🌎🌎🌎
Thank you so much!! I tore 20 rnds down to fix a Purl stitch in the moss stitch. Ugggh You helped immensely. 😘 Mwah!
i usually crochet so i'm used to just frogging however much i want and picking up like no big deal... ma'am you are saving me here 😆
Thank you so much for this
I really love it!! thankyouuu
Thank you 😊 this helped me in my first ever big project.
For the beautiful Celtic unfinished cable can you not make more scarves and the pick up and knit to calm down the flapping or grafting them.. I live celtic cable
Been knitting for some years… not overly successful but live staying with the English thrower stitch… other styles hurt my head… stumbled across this channel and was delighted to see good old much critiqued thrower technique for garter.. any so yeah tuning into this channel to refresh basics and learn new tips, I thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity of this and hope it continues. I am 65 and this is my big thing to move forward but cannot stand loads of jabbering.
I've been struggling for months on learning how to knit, you've explained.it so clearly and well thank you.
This is what I found.. You saved me thank u lol
😊😊
Ciao buon lavoro 🤗💌
Lovely pattern
So.... multiples of 4, + 1. I think you can actually make the knits sts at beginning and end the edge stitches. The first knit row is the right side of the work, and it is repeated for row 3. It is a 4 row repeat. The double p3tog with a yarn over, k1, happens on the wrong side and is placed between the clusters 2 rows below on subsequent pattern rows. To bind off, I would do it on the right side, or when starting the knit row. Nice video and the stitch creates a slightly lacy pattern, very nice.
😮 thank you, so simple,
Beautiful pattern and work! Lovely 😊
Thank you! Lovely, clear instructions with just the right amount of repetition.
not working
THANKYOU SO MUCHHH is there any way that we can make the '' V stitch'' reversible?
idk how but i did it with a chopstick
Excellent presentation. Thankyou
Excellent video. Just what I needed.
Omg god bless you i have been knitting and knitting and finally i know why
So basically if you do all purl or all knit stitches..it will turn into garter...i hope i am correct..I have had so much confusion regarding this because most of the tutorials said the back side should be opposite, which was not happening..thank you ❤
Thank you for showing how to cast off. Luv your sweet, calm voice and the slow way you teach❤ May i know how to correct a dropped stitch while doing this casting off pls? That's wat happened in my case and i haven't been able to proceed!😢
Great video, thanks. How to do the same right and left leaning double increase, please? 🙏🙏🙏
left-handed i was having trouble learning to purl and you helped me a lot.
Thank you! Very clear and concise!
TY, TY,TY! You just cleared up major confusion I had as a beginner 🙏🫶
THANK YOU! I was so alarmed by how everything I tried to make seemed to mysteriously get larger and larger!!
Um… What do I do next 😅
Purling is not tough, just, I prefer knitting which is straight forward. the stitches are too right with Purling
Thank you so much for these beginner tutorials! I was able to infer from this cast off on my purl side, it was very straightforward
I came to this video from another one that was moving way too fast. You explained it well, and moved at a nice pace, as well as had a GOOD camera angle! Thank you for making this, hopefully I can really start picking up speed in knitting.
Hi
what if it’s not a knit or purl stitch? like what if you did the stitch wrong completely? or if you need to undo it because you put your needle in the middle of the yarn plies?
